About Us

Kristina is the principal member of the Law Offices of Kristina G. Barsch located in Royal Oak, Michigan.  Kristina received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a Bachelors Degree in Social Relations from the James Madison College at Michigan State University.

Her practice is focused in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate and Special Needs Planning.  Prior to establishing the Law Offices of Kristina G. Barsch, Kristina worked for a boutique law firm specializing in Family Law; helping clients through the complexities of divorce and child custody matters.  After her tenure there, she joined a Metro Detroit law firm specializing in Elder Law and Special Needs Planning. There, she assisted families and individuals facing long term care and nursing home issues, as well as worked with families and individuals with special needs to craft planning strategies designed to meet their unique circumstances.

Kristina is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, The Elder Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

Kristina is also a speaker on the topics of Elder Law and Special Needs Planning.  She has spoken at nursing homes, assisted living facilities and various community senior centers.
